Beginning Note

In order to properly play The 45's Game, you cannot have "Large Fonts" turned on in you display settings while using the 45s game. Also a minimum resolution of
800x600 is required to properly play. If you are not sure if you have "Large Fonts" selected then you probably don't. The default setting from Microsoft is "Small Fonts".
If you are having a problem playing the game and you are not sure about the fonts or resolution you can find then parameter for this setting in the following locations:

Resolution: Start menu, Settings, Control Panel, Display, Settings (This is where the resolution option is) .
Font Size: Start menu, Settings, Control Panel, Display, Settings, Advanced (this is where the Font size option is).

If you are having a problem after installing, browse to the folder called "OCX" on the 45's cd and copy the four files to your c:\windows\system directory if you are using
Windows 95, 98, ME and c:\winnt\system32 if you are using Windows NT,2000,XP. For any questions, comments or support go to www.The45sCardGame.com web
site.

What's on the CD?

This CD contains 3 folders(Win9598NT2000XP, WinME, OCX). In the "Win9598NT2000XP" folder there are 2 setup files, 45s1.exe and 45s2.exe. 45s1.exe contains the
software and 45s2.exe contains the sounds, images, and control files. In the "WinME" folder there is one file called 45s2.exe. This is the complete setup for Windows
ME. In the OCX folder there are 4 .ocx files manually copied over if having problems playing the 45's game.

Installation Instruction for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP:

STEP 1: Before you begin close all other applications on your computer.

STEP 2: Put the CD Rom in your CD Rom Drive and, using your file explorer or My Computer, goto the CD Rom. You will see the two folders (Win9598NT2000XP, and WinME). Got to the folder that says "Win9598NT2000XP". In this folder you will find 2 .exe files.

STEP 3: Double click on the 45s1.exe and start the installation process. Take the system default for the recommended directory name to store the program in. The
default directory is C:\fives. If you change this directory then you will also need to indicate the new directory name when double clicking on the 45s2.exe and installing
the sound. During the installation of 45s1.exe it "may" ask you to restart your computer. If does ask then, choose the restart option. If it doesn't ask to restart then just proceed to step 4 and install the 45s2.exe.

STEP 4: If you were asked to "restart" the computer and you have done that then double click on 45s1.exe AGAIN. This will allow it to complete the installation of the program. If the install program did not ask you to "restart" the computer then proceed to STEP 5.

STEP 5: Install the sound, images, and control files by double clicking on the 45s2.exe file. When this is finished the game is ready to be played.
